Choosing the Best Air Purifier

  • Size (M3/H)

    It is imperative to understand the room size in m3/h, as it is the whole air area volume that needs to be taken into consideration.


    Too low an air movement performance will leave pollutants within your room for you to breathe in.

  • Location

    The Air Purifier location is also important to understand so as to maximise its performance.


    • Open doors? Open Windows
    • Too close to ventilation?
    • Too far away from the pollutants?

    It is all extremely important to understand as this will affect a rooms air volume and then the Air Purifier performance.

  • Pollutant Levels

    The level of room pollutants will also make a difference in selecting the correctly sized model.


    Generally, we look to achieve 8 – 12 air changes per hour for the whole space, but this could be subject to understanding the space, pollutant type and the level of poor air quality within the space.

  • Air Purifier Controls & Type

    The control of the Air Purifier is important, especially to the area’s risks.


    Auto sensors are a great option, but which option to choose.

    PM2.5? Co2, TVOC? Temperature? Humidity?


    What filter to choose, Pre-Filter? Anti-bacterial Filter? HEPA 13 or 14?  Carbon Filter? Anion? Photocatalyst, UVC?
